Job Description
We are supporting a semi-government organisation in the UAE in the appointment of a Senior Executive Director to lead high-impact strategic initiatives within a complex and evolving environment.
This is a senior leadership role working closely with executive stakeholders to shape and drive organisation-wide strategy, transformation, and performance, with a particular focus on initiatives within the education sector. The role offers the opportunity to influence long-term direction and deliver meaningful impact at both organisational and sector level.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead the development and execution of organisation-wide strategy and transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader national and sector priorities
-Advise senior leadership on strategic, operational, and sector-specific matters, providing clear and actionable insights
-Drive performance improvement and long-term value creation across the organisation through structured transformation programmes
-Oversee and guide the delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives, particularly within the education sector
-Engage with senior stakeholders, including government entities, regulators, and external partners, to support collaboration and alignment
-Provide leadership and direction to teams, ensuring high standards of delivery, accountability, and performance
-Support organisational development, governance frameworks, and strategic planning processes
Candidate Profile
-Experience at Partner level within a leading consulting firm or in an equivalent senior leadership role
-Strong and demonstrable experience within the education sector
-Proven track record of leading large-scale strategy and transformation programmes
-Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and advise at executive and government levels
-Strong leadership capability, with experience managing senior teams and complex programmes
-20+ years of professional experience across consulting, public sector, or related environments

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
