Job Description
We are supporting a leading financial institution in the UAE in their search for a Risk & Compliance Lead to oversee the organisation’s enterprise-wide risk and compliance function.
This is a senior leadership opportunity offering direct exposure to the Executive Committee and Board. The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the organisation’s risk strategy, governance framework, and compliance agenda while supporting strategic investment decisions across a complex portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide risk and compliance strategies.
-Oversee credit, market, liquidity, operational, and regulatory risk across the organisation.
-Drive risk assessments, scenario planning, stress testing, and governance initiatives.
-Ensure compliance frameworks align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
-Prepare and present executive-level risk reporting and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.
-Partner with key stakeholders to integrate risk considerations into strategic and investment decisions.
-Foster a strong risk and compliance culture across the organisation.
Requirements
-Extensive leadership experience in risk management, compliance, governance, or audit.
-Background within banking, financial services, investments, sovereign wealth funds, or similar institutional environments.
-Strong expertise in enterprise risk frameworks, governance, and regulatory compliance.
-Proven experience engaging with Executive Committees, Boards, and senior stakeholders.
-Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
-Professional risk or compliance certifications are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
