We are supporting a leading organisation in the UAE in their search for an Internal Communications Manager to lead and deliver a high-impact internal communications strategy.
This is a key role responsible for shaping how the organisation communicates with its people, ensuring clarity, alignment, and engagement across all business units. The role will work closely with senior leadership to drive effective messaging, support organisational change, and enhance employee engagement across a complex and evolving environment.
Role Overview
The Internal Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with organisational priorities. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, supporting leadership visibility, employee engagement, and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communication Strategy
-Develop and implement a clear internal communications strategy aligned with business objectives
-Ensure consistent messaging across functions and departments
-Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on internal communication approaches
Leadership & Executive Communications
-Draft speeches, internal announcements, emails, and town hall content for senior leadership
-Prepare briefing notes, key messages, and talking points
-Support leadership visibility and engagement across the organisation
Employee Engagement
-Design and deliver internal engagement initiatives and campaigns
-Support employee events such as town halls, roadshows, and internal programmes
-Monitor engagement levels and recommend improvements
Change & Transformation Communications
-Lead communication plans for transformation programmes and organisational change initiatives
-Develop clear, structured messaging to support business transitions
-Ensure alignment and clarity during periods of change
Content & Channel Management
-Manage internal communication channels and editorial calendars
-Oversee content creation to ensure messaging is engaging, clear, and aligned
-Maintain consistency of tone and messaging across all internal platforms
Stakeholder Management
-Partner with HR, leadership, and business units to deliver key communications
-Align messaging across departments and ensure coordinated delivery
Candidate Profile
-Proven experience in internal communications within large or complex organisations
-Strong background in developing communication strategies and delivering executive messaging
-Experience supporting transformation or change initiatives
-Excellent writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
-Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
-Previous experience in energy, industrial, manufacturing, or adjacent sectors is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
