We are supporting a leading public sector organisation in the UAE in their search for a Head of Compliance to join a high-profile Executive Office environment.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for establishing and leading the organisation’s internal compliance function, ensuring strong governance, ethical standards, and adherence to internal policies across a highly strategic and sensitive operating environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in embedding a culture of integrity, accountability, and compliance while acting as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
-Build and implement the organisation’s internal compliance framework from the ground up.
-Develop and maintain governance frameworks, internal policies, and codes of conduct.
-Oversee compliance across key areas including conflicts of interest, confidentiality, procurement integrity, and ethical standards.
-Advise executive leadership on compliance risks, governance matters, and policy-related issues.
-Lead internal reviews and investigations, ensuring appropriate actions are implemented where required.
-Promote a culture of accountability and compliance across the organisation.
-Prepare executive-level reports and provide strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
-Proven experience establishing and implementing compliance frameworks within complex organisations.
-Background within the public sector, government, industrial organisations, or compliance consulting.
-Strong understanding of governance, internal controls, organisational compliance, and ethical frameworks.
-Commercially and operationally minded, with the ability to enable business objectives while maintaining strong governance.
-Excellent judgement, discretion, and the ability to operate effectively in politically sensitive environments.
-Exceptional written communication, stakeholder management, and executive engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
