Job Description
We are supporting a leading Holding Group in the UAE in their search for a Director, International Tax to lead cross-border tax strategy and transaction support across a diverse global portfolio.
This is a senior, high-impact role with strong exposure to M&A, structuring, and strategic tax advisory, working closely with executive leadership on major investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead international tax strategy across global investments and operating entities
-Advise on cross-border structuring, tax treaties, transfer pricing, and permanent establishment risks
-Provide strategic tax input on acquisitions, divestments, JVs, restructurings, and new investments
-Manage tax due diligence and translate findings into commercial recommendations
-Support transaction structuring, modelling, and SPA negotiations
-Design tax-efficient holding and financing structures
-Support post-deal integration and restructuring initiatives
-Ensure compliance with UAE and international tax regulations
-Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities
Requirements
-12+ years of experience in international tax and transaction tax
-Background within Big 4, top-tier advisory, multinational, or investment environments
-Strong technical expertise in international tax, BEPS, transfer pricing, and cross-border structuring
-Proven experience supporting M&A transactions and complex investment structures
-Good understanding of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT frameworks
-Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate technical issues into business recommendations
-Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
-Able to operate in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
