Job Description
We are supporting a large holding group with a significant real estate portfolio in their search for a Director of Business Development to lead and expand business development initiatives across their asset base in the UAE.
This is a senior leadership role for a commercial real estate or investment professional with a proven track record in deal origination, negotiation, and execution.
The successful candidate will:
– Develop and execute business development strategies to diversify and maximize asset revenues.
– Identify, evaluate, and negotiate new opportunities including acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships.
– Drive investor relations and foster strategic partnerships to enhance asset value.
– Leverage market intelligence to recommend innovative business models and ensure strong financial returns.
– Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated business solutions.
We are looking for candidates with 7–10 years of experience in business development, investment, or commercial real estate, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong financial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management expertise are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
