Job Description
We are supporting a leading public sector organisation in the UAE in their search for a Strategy Manager to lead and deliver high-impact, experience-led transformation initiatives.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, requiring a candidate who can drive large-scale programmes, manage cross-functional teams, and translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and implement initiatives that enhance service quality, access, and overall organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead the design and delivery of large-scale transformation programmes across service delivery, digital initiatives, policy implementation, and operational improvement
-Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear governance, accountability, and timely delivery of initiatives
-Advise senior stakeholders on strategic priorities, transformation roadmaps, and performance improvement opportunities
-Develop business cases, implementation plans, and actionable recommendations that deliver measurable outcomes
-Establish performance frameworks, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to track progress and drive continuous improvement
-Collaborate with government entities and ecosystem partners to align on end-to-end service improvements
-Drive stakeholder engagement, ensuring buy-in and successful adoption of transformation initiatives
-Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to capability building within the organisation
Requirements
-Experience within a top-tier consulting firm (MBB or Tier 1, e.g., Roland Berger, Oliver Wyman, Kearney, Strategy&)
-Proven experience leading transformation programmes within public sector or large-scale organisations
-Strong background in strategy development, programme delivery, and stakeholder management
-Exposure to customer experience or service transformation initiatives preferred
-Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and structured thinking capabilities
-Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
-Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
