Job Description

We are supporting a government entity in the UAE in the appointment of a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support end-to-end recruitment activities across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing HR function, playing a key role in attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent while ensuring a seamless and professional candidate experience. The role will work closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver efficient and high-quality recruitment processes in line with organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities

-Develop and refine job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers to ensure role clarity and alignment with business needs

-Manage job postings across relevant platforms and sourcing channels

-Screen applications, review CVs, and shortlist candidates against defined criteria

-Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal stakeholders, ensuring a smooth and efficient process

-Support the preparation and extension of job offers, including salary and benefits discussions within approved guidelines

-Manage onboarding processes in coordination with HR and business teams to ensure a positive candidate experience

-Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

-Ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in line with internal policies, governance standards, and best practices

Candidate Profile

-Proven experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, ideally within a structured or high-volume environment

-Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams

-Experience working with ATS platforms and recruitment systems

-Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills

-Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment

-Experience within the public sector or government environment is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
  • Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
  • Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
