Job Description
We are supporting a fast-growing venture in Dubai in the appointment of an Operations Director to lead and scale all operational and technical activities across its EV charging network.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for building and optimising operations, overseeing infrastructure deployment, and ensuring the effective performance of a rapidly expanding network of EV charge points across the UAE. The role will work closely with senior leadership to support strategic growth and operational excellence within a high-growth, future-focused sector.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead all operational and technical functions across the EV charging network
-Oversee the end-to-end installation and deployment of EV charging infrastructure
-Manage, monitor, and maintain a growing portfolio of charge points across the UAE
-Provide operational insight and support strategic decision-making at senior leadership level
-Contribute to the development of network expansion strategy and infrastructure planning
-Oversee charge point management systems (CPMS) and associated backend operations
-Establish and track operational KPIs, ensuring delivery against performance targets and service standards
-Drive continuous improvement across operational processes, systems, and service delivery
Candidate Profile
-Proven experience within the EV charging or charge point infrastructure sector
-Strong background in network planning, infrastructure rollout, and deployment
-Extensive experience in operations and technical operations, including installation management
-Experience leading large, cross-functional teams in complex environments
-Strong understanding of backend systems, CPMS platforms, and operational processes
-Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a hands-on leadership approach

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
