Job Description
We are supporting a large holding group with a diversified investment portfolio in their search for a Director of Mergers & Acquisitions to lead the Group’s M&A strategy and execution across multiple business verticals.
This is a senior leadership role for a seasoned M&A professional with a strong background in corporate finance, deal origination, and strategic execution.
The successful candidate will:
– Define and execute long-term M&A strategies aligned with the Group’s corporate priorities and growth objectives.
– Lead the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of complex transactions including acquisitions, divestments, and joint ventures.
– Oversee due diligence, valuation, and post-deal integration to ensure disciplined execution and value creation.
– Build and manage relationships with investment advisors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
– Drive continuous improvement of M&A processes, governance, and performance tracking frameworks.
We are looking for candidates with 10–15 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or strategy, with a proven record of leading high-value transactions and managing cross-functional teams. Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and strategic leadership capabilities are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to create user-centered designs.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
- Develop responsive front-end code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and optionally frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs during implementation.
- Maintain design consistency across all platforms and products by adhering to brand guidelines.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness, navigation flows).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to design and development sprints.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer and Developer.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and front-end development work.
- Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
